Amanda and I took a short trip to Salvador whilst Alex was away on a school trip. Salvador is an old colonial city with a large African influence. The city is built across a fault and so is on two levels and e used the city centre lift to access the old market and scuh like on the lower level near the marina. The city is experiencing a large injection of investment to renovate the older buldings and it is clear that it will be a lovely place to visit in the coing years. |
